Breno Silveira (In Memoriam)
A director and photographer, Breno Silveira has created several Brazilian box office hits, many of them based on true stories and focused on family drama. He directed “Two Sons of Francisco”, the biggest box-office hit of the so-called Resurgence of Brazilian cinema, and the drama “1 Against All”, the Brazilian tv-show with most International Emmy nominations in history. Breno's works have been featured in the Toronto, Havana, and Monte-Carlo film festivals. Silvera died in 2022 at age 58.
